SEVENDUST's MORGAN ROSE Comments On Sitting In With KORN
February 8, 2011SEVENDUST drummer Morgan Rose will pull double duty on the last few shows of the first leg of the "Music As A Weapon V" tour, sitting behind the kit for co-headliners KORN while their drummer, Ray Luzier, goes home for the birth of his new baby. Rose told The Pulse Of Radio how he feels about filling in for his friend. "He's not the easiest dude to follow, you know, to fill shoes for," he said. "He's a monster. I mean, anything I can do to help out, you know, I'm here and I'm out here so it's pretty easy to just have me move my kit back a little bit and play with KORN. But doing our little 35, then taking a 20-minute break, then doing an hour with them is gonna be interesting. You should talk to me after that first one."

Luzier became KORN's touring drummer in late 2007 and was made an official member in 2009.
He replaced original drummer David Silveria, who left the band in late 2006 after 13 years.
SEVENDUST guitarist Clint Lowery missed the first few shows of the tour so that he could be home for the birth of his child as well.
KORN is co-headlining the trek with DISTURBED. A second leg will begin on March 8 in Belton, Texas.
