SEVENDUST, SOIL Join Forces For U.S. Tour
March 26, 2006SEVENDUST will be teaming up with SOIL for a U.S. tour beginning on May 4 in Wisconsin. The two bands are also scheduled to perform at the House of Blues in Chicago on May 9. More cities and dates will be announced soon.
SEVENDUST are continuing to tour in support of their fifth album, "Next" (WineDark/7Bros Records),which debuted at No. 20 on The Billboard 200 chart with first-week sales of more than 41,000 copies.
SOIL's new album, "True Self" (view cover artwork here),is scheduled for release on May 2 via DRT Entertainment. The follow-up to 2004's "Redefine" was recorded and mixed at Bomb Shelter studios in Los Angeles, California with producer Ulrich Wild (STATIC-X, TAPROOT). The upcoming CD will be the group's first to feature Cavalier, who previously fronted the California-based DIESEL MACHINE (also featuring ex-DAMAGEPLAN frontman Patrick Lachman on guitar). The band's original vocalist, Ryan McCombs, has since joined the Texas act DROWNING POOL.
