April 19, 2004According to a posting on the web site of KRGV Channel 5 in Weslaco, Texas, SEVENDUST had their tour bus catch on fire en route to a show. The band were scheduled to perform in McAllen, Texas Sunday night, but on the way "they noticed flames coming out from under the bus. A store clerk helped them put out the flames with a fire extinguisher."
As previously reported, SEVENDUST's new acoustic live live CD/DVD, "Southside Double-Wide Acoustic Live", is scheduled for release on May 4 through TVT Records. Recorded and filmed at The Georgia Theater in Athens, GA, the set contains many of the band's greatest hits, including "Bitch", "Too Close To Hate", "Black", "Xmas Day", "Broken Down", and a cover of the NINE INCH NAILS/JOHNNY CASH classic "Hurt". The DVD side contains over two hours of live footage and tons of DVD extras. Filmed with eight cameras, it's the best SEVENDUST live show ever made available.
