SEVENTH ONE Part Ways With Guitarist

March 4, 2005

Guitarist Johannes "Axe" Losbäck has officially left Swedish power metallers SEVENTH ONE. "It's a decision that didn't come lightly," Johannes said in a statement. "I was one of the founding members, [I] love the guys as friends and admire their mucisianship, [and I] would die for metal. The decision came only for one reason: It's too hard to push a metal machine up a hill, especially when there's no one around (the business) to help out!

"I believe I've done my share and I've come to run out of power for SEVENTH ONE. I've done many great things with SEVENTH ONE; two great albums that I'm VERY proud of, played Wacken Open Air, written songs that's been given great reviews, gotten drunk more than once, played alongside other great bands (heroes of mine),shook hands with TESTAMENT etc... But it's time to focus on other things.

"I will now give my full attention as a full member/songwriter in WOLF and hope to see all the friends I've made in SEVENTH ONE at gigs and fests or just down the pub.

"I thank the fans and the entire metal community for the last 8 years I had with SEVENTH ONE. Remember: metal is the ONLY way."

SEVENTH ONE released their sophomore album, "What Should Not Be", late last year through Armageddon Products.
