SEVERED SAVIOR Announces New Singer

December 11, 2007

San Francisco-based death metallers SEVERED SAVIOR have announced the addition of vocalist Anthony Trapani to the group's ranks. "Many of you know Anthony from his work on the recent (and crushing) ODIOUS MORTEM release 'Cryptic Implosion'," the band writes in a press release. "And we feel that his vocal style and lyrical sensibilities will fit perfectly with our new material."

The group continues, "The upcoming CD, 'Servile Insurrection', is still on schedule to come out early 2008, and we are very excited to finally unleash these new songs onto the public. Expect to hear the best SEVERED SAVIOR release so far. Also, [we] just want to mention that Anthony will continue to front ODIOUS MORTEM as well."

SEVERED SAVIOR recently inked a two-album deal with Willowtip Records.

The band's full-length debut, "Brutality is Law", was released in 2003. The CD was recorded at Digit Sound in San Pablo, California and was supported by tours with CANNIBAL CORPSE and THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER.
