SEVERED SAVIOR Signs With WILLOWTIP RECORDS

August 26, 2007

San Francisco-based death metallers SEVERED SAVIOR have parted ways with Unique Leader Records and are in the process of inking a new deal with Willowtip, according to a posting on the group's MySpace page. "This two-album deal will start with the upcoming 'Servile Insurrection' 12-track CD, which we are currently recording," states guitarist Mike Gilbert.

On the subject of the band's new label home, Gilbert writes, "As many of you may already know, Willowtip has an impeccable reputation in merchandise sales and distribution. And with their partner label in Europe, Neurotic Records, the combined band roster of both labels is awesome. We are very excited to start this new label relationship and look forward to the years to come."

SEVERED SAVIOR's full-length debut, "Brutality is Law", was released in 2003. The CD was recorded at Digit Sound in San Pablo, California and was supported by tours with CANNIBAL CORPSE and THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER.

SEVERED SAVIOR's current lineup:

Mike Gilbert - Guitar
Dusty Boisjolie - Vocals
Murray Fitzpatrick - Bass
Troy Fullerton - Drums
