SEX PISTOLS Guitarist STEVE JONES' 'Jonesy's Jukebox' Now Available On Los Angeles' KROQ
October 6, 2010The "world-famous" Los Angeles radio station KROQ has announced the return of "Jonesy's Jukebox", starting this Sunday, October 10. Airing Sunday nights from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., the weekly two-hour program hosted by SEX PISTOLS co-founder/guitarist and pop culture icon Steve Jones will now be now heard on air and online at www.kroq.com.
Jones says, "They are letting me play whatever I want — and that's good for me."
Jones re-claims the radio airwaves with "Jonesy's Jukebox", the influential and acclaimed radio program made famous on KDLD/KDLE-FM (Indie 103.1). "Jonesy's Jukebox" on KROQ-FM will feature an irreverent mix of new music from iconic artists, developing talent, and eclectic cuts from his personal music collection.
"Sunday nights on KROQ has historically been the home to groundbreaking programming beginning with the legendary Rodney Bingenheimer over 30 years ago.
