SHADOW CUT Cancel Studio Sessions
October 13, 2005SHADOW CUT, the Helsinki, Finland-based black/death metal band featuring drummer Repe F.W. Misanthrope (IMPALED NAZARENE) and bassist Mitja Harvilahti (MOONSORROW),have cancelled their studio recording session originally scheduled for March. "The reason is mainly their lack of time for practising and getting things ready in time," reads a press release from the group's record label, Firebox Records. "Also the band has thrown away half of the songs that were supposed to be on the second album as they weren't strong enough. The band wants to make sure that the second album will be better than the debut, so they will take all the time they need..."
SHADOW CUT released their debut album, "Pictures of Death", earlier in the year via Firebox. The CD was produced by Henri Sorvali (a.k.a. Trollhorn, FINNTROLL).
