SHADOWS FALL: 'Another Hero Lost' Video Posted Online

November 15, 2007

SHADOWS FALL's new, partially black-and-white video for the song "Another Hero Lost" — which honors the nation's fallen soldiers — can be viewed below (courtesy of Headbanger's Blog). (NOTE: Video stream is **NOT** available to non-U.S. residents.)

The tune was inspired by the death of singer Brian Fair's cousin, a soldier killed in Iraq. "The video combines some intimate performance footage of the band contrasted by stark images of everyday people paying tribute to loved ones who left this world before their time," Fair said in a statement to Headbanger's Blog.

The clip will make its "Heabanger's Ball" debut on Saturday, November 17 on MTV2.

SHADOWS FALL's overview of its years as a Century Media recording act (before signing with Atlantic for the U.S. and Roadrunner for Europe),"Seeking the Way: The Greatest Hits", sold 700 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Clocking in at over 60 minutes, the album contains 15 landmark tracks, including "Destroyer of Senses", "What Drives the Weak", and the Guitar Hero II track "The Light that Blinds" plus all-new mixes of "Crushing Belial", "Of One Blood" and "Fleshold" by Zeuss (HATEBREED, UNEARTH, THROWDOWN etc.). Featuring artwork and liner notes by Tom Bejgrowicz, "Seeking the Way: The Greatest Hits" is a fascinating introduction to SHADOWS FALL as well the best way to get all their hits on one disc.

A SHADOWS FALL B-side from the "Threads of Life" sessions called "Stupid Crazy" is included on the "Resident Evil: Extinction" soundtrack, which was released on September 18 via Lakeshore Records. The film itself hit theaters on September 21.
