SHADOWS FALL At NAMM: Video Available

February 8, 2008

Video footage of SHADOWS FALL at this year's winter NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) show, which was held January 17-20 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California can be viewed below.

Commented SHADOWS FALL drummer Jason Bittner: "What you are about to witness here is some of the chaos that we experienced at this year's NAMM show! There's some great footage of Jon [Jonathan Donais, guitar], Matt [Bachand, rhythm guitar], Paul [Romanko, bass] and myself at the BOSS signing, as well as the three of us (Matt, Paul, Jason) with Sharlee from ARCH ENEMY at the Ibanez/Hoshino signing. In addition is some backstage and live footage form the Wimbash party that I played with Dave Ellefson [F5, ex-MEGADETH], Ripper Owens [BEYOND FEAR, ex-ICED EARTH, JUDAS PRIEST], Marc Rizzo [SOULFLY], and Rob Arnold [CHIMAIRA]... loads of fun.

"This year we saw the launch of Matt and Paul's signature guitars, as well as Jon moving over to ESP, and launching his new signature series axe.

"All in all we had a great time, saw a lot of friends, and spent some time with the fans, which without them, we wouldn't be here, so thank you."

SHADOWS FALL will perform in the Philippines for the first time ever on Saturday, March 15 at Avenue Hall in Makati (Manila). Part of the proceeds from the concert will go to Diether Ocampo's K.I.D.S. Foundation. Tickets are available at all Odyssey record stores or directly from PULP Magazine.

SHADOWS FALL recently received a Grammy nomination in the "Best Metal Performance" category for "Redemption", the first single from the band's newest release, "Threads of Life". This marks SHADOWS FALL's second Grammy nomination in the category, following the group's nod at the 2006 awards for "What Drives The Weak" off the Century Media release "The War Within".

The 50th annual Grammy Awards will be held at Los Angeles' Staples Center on Sunday, February 10, 2007.

SHADOWS FALL's overview of its years as a Century Media recording act (before signing with Atlantic for the U.S. and Roadrunner for Europe),"Seeking the Way: The Greatest Hits", was released in late October.

A SHADOWS FALL B-side from the "Threads of Life" sessions called "Stupid Crazy" is included on the "Resident Evil: Extinction" soundtrack, which was released on September 18 via Lakeshore Records. The film itself hit theaters on September 21.
