SHADOWS FALL: Buy JASON BITTNER's Drum Kit At Guitar Center

August 7, 2008

At the beginning of 2008, Guitar Center approached SHADOWS FALL drummer Jason Bittner about recreating his touring kit and producing it in a limited-edition exclusive run for all 214 Guitar Center stores nationwide. Guitar Center wanted to tie this in with its "August Anniversary" sale which is the chain's largest sale of the year. Eight months later, the kit is now a reality and can be found in all Guitar Center locations.

As previously reported, SHADOWS FALL will support AVENGED SEVENFOLD on the following dates:

Sep. 06 - Huntington, WV - Harris Riverfront Park
Sep. 07 - Baltimore, MD - Ram's Head Live
Sep. 09 - Quebec, QC - Pavillon de la Jeunesse
Sep. 10 - Montreal, QC - Metropolis
Sep. 11 - Toronto, ON - The Sound Academy

SHADOWS FALL is currently writing material for its new album, tentatively due in 2009. Vocalist Brian Fair stated last month, "So far, we have the skeletons of two songs coming together, with a third on the way. I am not sure where things will head in the future, but these songs are definitely on the fast and technical side of the SHADOWS FALL sound. Lots of changes, tons of thrash riffs, and guitar solos galore."
