SHADOWS FALL Dominate Main Stage At OZZFEST; New Video Completed

August 12, 2005

SHADOWS FALL have been annihilating thousands of people every night on the main stage at this year's Ozzfest with their highly energetic and captivating live performances. The group's unique blend of hard rock and thrash metal is about the most intense form of rock that the fans can expect the main stage to dish out. The masses are welcoming it with open arms.

SHADOWS FALL's set focuses mainly on material from their critically acclaimed album "The War Within", which is led by the hit commercial rock anthems "Inspiration On Demand" and "What Drives The Weak". This high-octane 45-minute assault showcases the band at their very best after they spent two months playing arenas with SLIPKNOT this past spring. They also recently shot a video for the track "Enlightened By The Cold" with longtime director Zach Merck (12 STONES, ATREYU). The clip portrays what a day in the life with SHADOWS FALL is like on Ozzfest and it is tentatively set to make its network debut next month.

SHADOWS FALL are not only the first band of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal genre to achieve main stage status at Ozzfest, but one of the few bands in its history to make the leap from the second stage to the main stage. "The War Within" originally debuted at #20 on The Billboard Top 200 chart and it is quickly approaching 250,000 units sold in the United States (according to Nielsen SoundScan) in just under a year's time.
