SHAPE OF DESPAIR: New Album Details Revealed

Finnish doom/death metallers SHAPE OF DESPAIR, the band featuring ex-AMORPHIS/current AJATTARA singer Pasi Koskinen, will release their new self-titled album on August 3 via Spinefarm Records. The low-priced CD will feature rare and unreleased material from the group, including tracks from the band's first demo, "Alone in the Mist", and a new song called "Sleeping Murder", which was recorded over a four-day period late March at Sundicoop Studios in Savonlinna, Finland.

SHAPE OF DESPAIR's third album, "Illusion's Play", was released in Europe last September through Spikefarm Records. The follow-up to 2001's "Angels of Distress" was recorded at Hellhole studios in Helsinki, Finland. The CD will receive a U.S. release on August 9 through Season of Mist via Caroline distribution.
