SHARON OSBOURNE Does Not Regret 'Stealing' OZZY From His Former Wife

November 4, 2010

Sharon Osbourne, who co-hosts the daytime talk show "The Talk" on CBS, has revealed that she has no regrets for stealing husband Ozzy from his wife and children because it turned out so well.

"It's a tough situation 'cause I did what she did, but we've been together 30 years," Sharon said during yesterday's (Wednesday, November 3) edition of "The Talk". My husband was married with two kids, and I stole him and I'm happy I did, and it worked out good in the end. You can't point fingers at people in relationships like this 'cause you never know what's going on inside."

Sharon, who married Ozzy in Hawaii 28 years ago, revealed in a 2005 interview that their romance was written off by Ozzy's friends who thought he should marry someone wilder.

She said: "I've certainly never been a rock chick — I wasn't into that whole leather trouser look. When Ozzy and I first got together, people said 'It won't last.' They expected him to be with some blonde, not with someone who looked like me."

When asked in a 2009 interview what would have happened if he hadn't met Sharon, Ozzy said, "I'd be dead. I'd have killed myself by now. Falling in love with Sharon was the best thing that ever happened to me. She was patient, she stuck by me. Someone asked me, 'Imagine if it was the other way around, you were the sober one and she was the one on the floor covered in piss and puke every day. How long do you think you would last?' And I was like, 'Fuck, that's a good question.' I really don't know the answer. She stuck it out. Her being sober saved me. She's not a big drinker — she has a few glasses of wine and she goes fucking nuts."
