SHARON OSBOURNE Lands Role In 'Nativity! The Musical'

September 9, 2019

Sharon Osbourne has landed a role in "Nativity! The Musical".

Ozzy Osbourne's wife and manager told The Sun newspaper's "Bizarre" column that she will spend three weeks on stage at London's Eventim Apollo alongside Danny Dyer.

Sharon told The Sun: "I'm going to be coming to do the Nativity at the Apollo over Christmas.

"This is the way it was. For three years they've been asking me, 'Do it, do it, please do it'. I'm like, 'yeah I'd love to do it.' So I'm going to do it this year and I'm excited about it, working with all those kids, 31 kids. Danny is in it this year, of course. It's going to be amazing."

Sharon also joked audiences will "walk out" when they hear her sing.

She said: "I sing terribly and it will be very funny. They'll walk out. You'll hear these huge amount of boos when I sing."

Written and directed by Debbie Isitt with music and lyrics by Nicky Ager and Debbie Isitt, "Nativity! The Musical" is choreographed by Andrew Wright, designed by David Woodhead, with lighting design by Tim Mitchell, sound design by Tom Marshall and musical supervision and orchestrations by George Dyer.

Producer Jamie Wilson said: "'Nativity! The Musical' is currently one of the largest and most logistically challenging shows touring the U.K. with a cast of adults, live band, over 35 children and a dog. We are so thrilled with the phenomenal success of the show over the last two years and delighted to be bringing it back for a third year running."
