SHARON OSBOURNE Unable To Conquer Bulimia

December 20, 2004

According to the New York Daily News, Sharon Osbourne said she's unable to conquer daily bouts of bulimia even after having her stomach stapled to stop herself from binging on food.

In a no-holds-barred interview with London's Daily Mail, Osbourne, 52, also discusses an abortion she had at 17 after getting pregnant the first time she had sex.

"It was the worst thing I ever did," she said.

The wife of BLACK SABBATH frontman Ozzy Osbourne also confessed she has had the full monty when it comes to plastic surgery.

"Facelift, neck, breasts, lips, leg lifts, bum implant, tummy tuck. I've had it all and it is fabulous," Osbourne boasts — careful to add that she had the surgery even though Ozzy always accepted her as she is.

"How lucky I was to find Ozzy," she said.

He returns her praise, saying: "Drives me [bleeping] mental, she does, but she's [bleeping] great. There's no one like Sharon."

Still, Osbourne said she can't overcome the bulimia that compels her to vomit up to three times a day.

"It's the thing that causes most arguments [in the family]. We'll be at the dinner table and I'll go off and they'll say, 'Oh, here we go again.' They hate it." Despite the stomach stapling, she still binges on cookies, potato chips and bread until she's sick.

Her greatest regret is the abortion after her "awful" first sexual encounter. Her mom was so angry she sent her to the abortion clinic on her own.

Later, she had three miscarriages before giving birth to her three kids.

"In life . . . you pay somewhere down the line."
