SHATTER MESSIAH Announces New Bassist

May 5, 2007

SHATTER MESSIAH, the Akron, Ohio-based band featuring former NEVERMORE/ANNIHILATOR guitarist Curran Murphy and ex-ANNIHILATOR drummer Robert Falzano, has issued the following update:

"SHATTER MESSIAH would like to welcome Jason Chamberlain to the band as our new friend and bass player. Jason took the low end job for our '06 tour after Ron [Boisvert] had to bow out for personal reasons. Everyone in the SHATTER camp is still on good terms with Ron and we all wish him the best."

DCA Recordings last month released the critically acclaimed debut album by SHATTER MESSIAH, "Never to Play the Servant". The CD was released last year in Europe, and had only been available as an import outside the continent.

In June the band will embark on a North American tour as direct support to Finnish goth metal band TO/DIE/FOR. Also on the bill will be Australia's VIRGIN BLACK (The End Records) and Metal Blade recording artists EPICUREAN.
