SHEAVY: First Gig With New Guitarist Announced

October 20, 2009

St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada "stoner" rockers SHEAVY have begun recording their new album, "The Golden Age Of Daredevils", for an early 2010 release. The band states, "drums are done and Keith's [Foley] just about got the bass stuff completed. With any luck, Evan [Chalker] and Chris [White] will have a productive week on guitars as well. The whole process is going a little slower than hoped but between work and funky hard disk recorders, it's always a challenge. Anyway, better to do it slow, and get it right."

SHEAVY's next performance is scheduled October 23 at the Distortion bar in St. John's. The group says, "We'll be performing a bunch of new tunes and it'll be our first gig with Chris White who started jamming with us a few months back. It should be a cool night. Hope you guys can check it out."

SHEAVY's last album, entitled "The Machine That Won the War", was released in 2007 via Candlelight Records.

SHEAVY is:

Steve Hennessey - Vocals
Evan Shalker - Guitar
Keith Foley - Bass
Jason Williams - Drums
Chris White - Guitar
