SHELTER: New Song Posted Online
February 20, 2006A brand-new SHELTER song, entitled "Eternal", has been posted online at this location. The track is the title cut of the band's upcoming CD, due in April via Good Life Recordings (BeNeLux, North and South America) and Dockyard 1 (rest of the world). The band's first album since 2001's "The Purpose, the Passion" will feature 11 tracks, including a reworking of "In Defense of Reality", which first appeared on 1995's "Quest for Certainty".
"Eternal" was recorded with the help of Ken Olden on guitar (BETTER THAN A 1000, DAMNATION AD and BATTERY) and Dave DiCenso, the drum professor who played on other SHELTER classics such as "Mantra" (Roadrunner, 1996),"Beyond Planet Earth" (Roadrunner, 1997),and "The Purpose the Passsion" (Century Media, 2001). The entire production shines with the assistance of the award-winning engineer/producer Chad J. Hughes, who does sound design for film and television in Los Angeles and develops up-and-coming artists.
