SHRINEBUILDER: New West Coast Dates Announced

SHRINEBUILDER — the project that features in its ranks Scott "Wino" Weinrich (ST. VITUS, THE HIDDEN HAND),Scott Kelly (NEUROSIS),Al Cisneros (OM, SLEEP),and Dale Crover (MELVINS) — has scheduled the following dates:

March 02 - San Diego, CA - The Casbah
March 03 - Los Angeles, CA - Echo
March 04 - Los Angeles, CA - Echo
March 05 - San Jose, CA - Voodoo Lounge
March 06 - Oakland, CA - Oakland Metro
March 07 - San Francisco, CA - The Independent
March 09 - Seattle, WA - Neumos

March 2-9 - With A STORM OF LIGHT
March 5-7 - With HARVESTMAN

According to a posting on SHRINEBUILDER's MySpace page, "the band will also be playing [New York] and the 2010 Scion Rock festival. Details on those dates coming soon."

SHRINEBUILDER's self-titled debut album was released in October via Neurot Recordings. According to a press release, the CD is "a powerful culmination of its members' distinct styles that coalesce into an entity of its own. Comprised of five epic passages showcasing this group's grandiose merging of soulful doom dirges, spiritual mantras, monstrous buildups and chest-collapsing grooves, the debut is truly a must-hear album of 2009."
