SIEGES EVEN Cancels Festival Appearances

July 18, 2008

Reactivated cult German progressive metallers SIEGES EVEN have have issued the following update:

"We have a sad announcement to make: SIEGES EVEN have to cancel their participation of both Night Of The Prog and Rock Of Ages. Guitar player Markus Steffen is suffering from a serious injury of a sinew of his left hand. All attempts by doctors to get his hand working this week were without success. To avoid this problem becoming chronical, he is not allowed to play guitar for the next weeks. Needless to say, we are very sorry that we cannot play these big shows we were looking for for quite some time. We regret and hope for your understanding!"

The affected shows are as follows:

Jul. 20 - Loreley, GER @ Night of the Prog Festival
Jul. 25 - Rottenburg/Seebronn, GER @ Rock of Ages Festival

SIEGES EVEN will release its first-ever live album, "Playgrounds", at the end of July via InsideOut Music. The CD will contain ten songs from the "A Sense Of Change", "The Art Of Navigating By The Stars" and "Paramount" albums recorded during the first leg of the band's "Paramount" tour 2007-2008.
