SILENT CIVILIAN: Former SPINESHANK Frontman's New Band Added To NOTHINGFACE Tour

SILENT CIVILIAN, the new band featuring former SPINESHANK vocalist Jonny Santos, has been added to the upcoming NOTHINGFACE tour, which is being sponsored by Jägermeister. The tour will be SILENT CIVILIAN's first of many planned treks through the U.S. in support of their debut album, "Rebirth of the Temple", due March 21 via Mediaskare Records. Confirmed dates are as follows:

Feb. 11 - Baltimore, MD - The Recher Theatre
Feb. 12 - Cleveland, OH - Peabody's
Feb. 14 - Sauget, IL - Pops
Feb. 16 - Shreveport, LA - 516 Soundstage
Feb. 17 - Spartanburg, SC - Ground Zero
Feb. 18 - Winston Salem, NC - Ziggy's
Feb. 23 - Battle Creek, MI - Planet Rock (w/ CROSSBREED)
Feb. 24 - Traverse City, MI - Streeter’s (w/ CROSSBREED)
Feb. 25 - Flint, MI - The Machine Shop (w/ CROSSBREED)
Feb. 26 - Kent, OH – Screwy Louie's

"Rebirth of the Temple" was recorded at Undercity Recordings with former MACHINE HEAD/SOULFLY guitarist Logan Mader producing and mixing. The title track will serve as the first single from the album, with an accompanying video having been shot over the weekend of in the Los Angeles area with director Scott Culver (YELLOWCARD, HIT THE LIGHTS, MIKOTO). The concept for the video is said to be an ode to the glory days of old-school thrash metal.

In other news, Santos will be appearing at this weekend's NAMM convention in Anaheim, California, signing at the Fernandes booth on Saturday, January 21 at 1:00 p.m.
