SILENT FORCE Frontman To Guest On New DOL AMMAD CD

January 2, 2006

DOL AMMAD, the innovative choir-fronted "electronica-art-metal" band from Greece, have announced a guest star for their upcoming second album. DC Cooper, singer of SILENT FORCE (and formerly of ROYAL HUNT),spent time at composer Thanasis Lightbridge's personal studio in December working on a guest singing performance with the DOL AMMAD choir in the song "Aquatic Majesty" for the band's upcoming aquatic-inspired-space opus. Cooper, one of the best melodic metal singers in the world, had a personal dream to one day work together with a classical choir and when DOL AMMAD approached him, he was amazed by the music and immediately accepted the offer. Thanasis stated that it was a big honor and a dream come true to work with DC and to have his voice on the new DOL AMMAD CD and that he is very excited about the final result. DC also worked with DOL AMMAD on one additional song, but it is still uncertain when and where this track will appear.

DOL AMMAD's debut CD, "Star Tales", released in 2004 through Black Lotus Records, received rave reviews and feedback from the metal media and is now available via the newly formed DOL AMMAD E-Store. DOL AMMAD are currently searching for a new record label/distributor for the release of their as-yet-untitled second CD, which is now at the mastering stage.
