SILVERGINGER 5 Contribute To Soundtrack, CONNY BLOOM Gets Busy On The Side

February 3, 2002

SILVERGINGER 5's "Walk Like A Motherf.cker" has been selected by famed Swedish video director Jonas kerlund (i.e. METALLICA, MADONNA) for use in his upcoming movie Spun, which is scheduled to feature actor Mickey Rourke and is due later in the year. Other artists appearing on the movie's soundtrack include MOTLEY CRUE, OZZY OSBOURNE and BILLY CORGAN. In related news, current SILVERGINGER 5 guitarist and former ELECTRIC BOYS frontman Conny Bloom is about to begin mixing his recently-recorded live album for a possible summer release through an as-yet-undisclosed label. Also on the Bloom front, Conny will record and produce the song "Popens Mussolini" for the tribute album to Swedish cult band NATIONALTEATERN. Among the other artists contributing to the compilation are SOUNDTRACK OF OUR LIVES, THE HELLACOPTERS, BACKYARD BABIES, and CARDIGANS vocalist NINA PERSSON.
