SIN CITY SINNERS' TODD KERNS To Undergo Surgery
July 16, 2010SIN CITY SINNERS vocalist/guitarist Todd Kerns, who is also playing bass in legendary guitarist Slash's (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES) solo band, is scheduled to undergo surgery today (Friday, July 16) for a retinal detachment in his right eye. He says, "The recovery time is longer than I would like but the outcome looks good." He adds, "I will, unfortunately, be out of commission for the next several weeks so I cannot say what tours or shows I will be a part of until we know how things look down the road. I can say that, regardless of when and where, I will be back in action as soon as physically possible.
"I have been playing almost every night for God knows how many years now and the idea of not doing so for a while is a bit unnerving. I plan to make the best of it. There's always a new song to write."
Slash's next show is scheduled for July 29 in Hong Kong.
