Singer MATT REARDON Completes Vocals For VIOLENT STORM Debut

February 18, 2005

Singer Matt Reardon has just finished laying down the vocals for the debut album from VIOLENT STORM, the new band formed by ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN/BLACKMORE'S NIGHT bassist Mick Cervino. Hailing from the U.S., Reardon's roots are said to be in "metal, grunge and rock and roll of today." His "deep and unadulterated raw powerful baratone vocals can be heard on over 60 soundtracks to date worldwide. He has also toured in Europe with his former band as guests for acts such as QUEENSRŸCHE, SAXON, IN EXTREMO and Steven Adler of GUNS N' ROSES." Check out photos of Reardon and Cervino at the recording studio at this location.

As previously reported, VIOLENT STORM recently inked a deal with a deal with King Records in Japan and Watanabe Music Publishing Japan. The group, whose sound is described as "a sonic barrage of stunning vocals, ripping guitars, relentless bass, and pounding drums, anchored around solid songwriting you won't soon forget," are scheduled to release their debut album in Japan on May 25.
