March 24, 2010

SINGLE BULLET THEORY's cover version of the DEATH song "Spirit Crusher" can be streamed using the ReverbNation TuneWidget below (click on "Songs" tab). Vocalist/guitarist Matt Difabio (ex-PISSING RAZORS) states, "This track has been in the making for quite some time now. I can't really get into all the details as to why its been in our archives since 2006. Suffice it say, I am glad we had the opportunity to get it finished . . . It's been sorta on the back burner for a dog's age. Regardless, here it is and I hope the metal community embraces it.

"We are huge DEATH fans and it was an honor to have Matt Thompson (KING DIAMOND) lend his services on the drums."

He adds, "This version is not mastered yet but it will be on the [fourth] SINGLE BULLET THEORY album, 'Divine Ways Of Chaos'."

Jed Simon (TENET, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, ZIMMERS HOLE),Tim Roth (INTO ETERNITY) and Thomspon will make guest appearances on "Divine Ways Of Chaos". The CD is currently being recorded at Collinwood Studios in Wenonah, New Jersey and it's "shaping up to be a monster of a release," according to Difabio.

A brand new SINGLE BULLET THEORY track, "The Edge of Broken", is available for streaming using the ReverbNation TuneWidget below (click on "Songs" tab).

"The Edge of Broken" "marks a significant change in SINGLE BULLET THEORY's sound and leans much farther into the heavier elements of the band," according to a press release.

SINGLE BULLET THEORY is currently finalizing a new record deal. In the meantime, the band will be scheduling select regional shows in and around the Northeast. This will be the first series of dates to feature the grup's new lineup:
