SINISTER To Release Compilation Of Early Material

According to Voices From The Darkside, New York's Goregiastic Records will soon release a SINISTER compilation CD, entitled "The Blood Past", featuring all the early, long-time out-of-print material released during the 1990-1992 period. It will include the band's two EPs from 1990, the 1990 and 1991 demos, the split EP with MONASTERY from 1991 plus special bonus tracks. It will come with a comprehensive booklet including all the EPs and demo covers, tons of pics, liner notes, recordings info and more. The cover artwork was created by Chris Moyen (INCANTATION, BLASPHEMY, VITAL REMAINS, MORTICIAN, SARCOFAGO, etc).

Revolution-Music.dk conducted an interview with SINISTER vocalist Aad Kloosterwaard in February at the Royal Metal Fest in rhus, Denmark. Download the 12-minute audio file at this location.

SINISTER will release its new album, "The Silent Howling", on September 26 via Massacre Records. Check out the cover artwork at this location. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "The Silent Howling", "If It Bleeds...", "The Kill To Come" and "Fortified Bravery". The album will be recorded in May at Soundlodge Studio in Germany.

SINISTER's current lineup includes Kloosterwaard, Alex Paul (guitar) and Bas van den Bogaard (bass).

A preview clip of the first-ever live DVD from SINISTER, entitled "Prophecies Denied", is available below. Released in January 2007 in North America via MVD Visual, the disc was shot with seven cameras on August 24, 2006 at the Stodola Club in Warsaw, Poland and was made available as a standard DVD and a DVD+CD limited-edition package. The DVD also includes an interview with Aad Kloosterwaard and guitarist Alex Paul as well as a documentary, "Angels of the Apocalypse", plus rare footage.
