SINNER: Drum Tracks For New Album Completed

September 14, 2006

SINNER — the German band featuring PRIMAL FEAR bassist Mat Sinner, his FEAR bandmate Tom Naumann (guitars),Frank Rössler (keyboards),METALIUM's Matte Lange (guitars) and former PRIMAL FEAR drummer Klaus Sperling — has entered Leon studio near Stuttgart with the engineering team of Achim Köhler and Samson Geiger to begin recording its new album, entitled "Mask of Sanity", for a January 19, 2007 release through MTM Music. Check out pictures from the studio at this location.

Commented Sinner: "Klaus finished his drum tracks for the new album for 12 new tracks. As 11 tracks were planned to record (as a homage to Tom's amp),but we've added a cover version of one of our favorite songwriters at the very last minute. As Roy said, 'I smell the taste of fresh Guinness'... Let's see if the result will be a killer, but we're very positive and had a lot of fun to record the drums for the song! Overall the new songtitles are just working titles at the moment and we don't want to publish them too early, regarding some changes here. Now it's time for roaring guitars and pounding bass, but we need definitely more cowbell!"

Working songtitles set to appear on the new CD include "The Sign", "Revenge", "Last Men Standing", "Thunderroar", "Mask of Sanity" and "Black".

The new SINNER lineup will make its live debut on October 7, 2006 at the H2O in Reichenbach, Germany. Also appearing on the bill will be PRIMAL FEAR, PUMP and TARGA.
