May 14, 2007

German hard rock institution SINNER, which is fronted by PRIMAL FEAR bassist Mat Sinner, has been confirmed as main support for THIN LIZZY on their only non-festival show this year in Germany, taking place June 4 in Karlsruhe at Festhalle Durlach.

Comments Sinner: "We are very much looking forward to this show since THIN LIZZY always had a huge influence on the music of SINNER. Needless to say, all of us are big fans..."

SINNER, whose latest album "Mask of Sanity" features a cover of THIN LIZZY's "Baby Please Don't Go", has just completed the first leg of the "Mask of Sanity" tour. The band's video for the song "Black" has been posted online at this location. The clip was directed by artist-photographer Katja Piolka, who has previously worked with the group on the "Diary of Evil" and "Die on Command" videos. Piolka has also created cover art for such acts as LEAVES' EYES, AGATHODAIMON, ATROCITY, DAWN and TRAIL OF TEARS.

"Black" comes off the German band's new album, "Mask of Sanity", which was released in January via MTM Music (February 20, 2007 in the U.S. through Crash Music). Produced by Mat Sinner and engineered by Achim Köhler, the CD features guest appearances by Andy B. Franck (BRAINSTORM),Ralf Scheepers (PRIMAL FEAR) and Martin Grimm (MYSTIC PROPHECY).
