SINS IV AGES Finalizing Pre-Production For Debut Album

December 22, 2009

SINS IV AGES, the new band featuring Swedish musicians Mats Nilsson (MARYSCREEK) and Jesper Johansson (ex-MORIFADE),has issued the following update:

"After little more than a year's existence as a band, we're in the final stage of pre-production/demo recordings for our forthcoming debut album. When we've finished this, we're heading to rehearse, check over the material and make some re-arrangements if it's needed. The plan is to start the real recording of it in the beginning of March.

"At the moment there's 13 tracks almost completed and one of them is a cover song of a well-known artist (maybe supposed as a bonus track). [As for] the hunt of a record label and management, this will be our next goal beside the aforementioned when the pre-production is finished.

"2010 will be a year of hard work for us to get this album together and hopefully do a couple of live appearances. We hope you will follow us through this exciting year.

"SINS IV AGES is still looking for a lead/solo guitarist. So if you think you are the one, don't hesitate to get in touch with us at: [email protected]."

SINS IV AGES recently announced the addition of drummer Kim Gustavsson (DEVIANT BREED, SYSTEM SHOCK) and bassist Roger Blomberg (DENATA, FREEVIL) to the group's ranks.

SINS IV AGES earlier in the year completed work on a four-song demo recording. The demo, titled "Chapter I – DEMOlition", was laid down at Mats' home studio and was mixed by Jörgen Larsson at Poptrack Productions.

According to SINS IV AGES' official bio, the band's musical direction revolves around "great tunes without borders and no specific metal genres in mind. With Mats from a more hard rock- and AOR-oriented musical background and Jesper from the modern, technical, power semi-progressive side of metal, [the final result] is a very fresh, interesting and original-sounding mixture."
