SISTER SIN To Record New Song

Swedish female-fronted heavy rock band SISTER SIN has issued the following update:

"We're hitting the studio next week to record a brand new track called 'Beat 'Em Down' sort of a tribute to the late great Gothenburg boxing champ Ingemar 'Ingo' Johansson, who passed away in January. Watch out for the song to premiere at MySpace shortly!"

SISTER SIN is seeking a new bass player. All applicants should be:

* Between 22 and 32 years old.
* Experienced studio and live performers
* Prepared to tour A LOT!
* Live in Gothenburg, Sweden or be prepared to move there.
* Be familiar with SISTER SIN's musical style and be prepared to participate in the songwriting process

"Switchblade Serenades", the debut album from SISTER SIN, debuted at No. 107 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

The first SISTER SIN video, "On Parole", can be viewed below. The clip was filmed in late July 2008 in Stockholm with director Bill Schacht, who has previously worked with AMON AMARTH, DIO, ALICE COOPER and KING DIAMOND. The track is the first single off "Switchblade Serenades", which was released in North America through Victory Records.

"Switchblade Serenades" was produced by Tobias Lindell at Bohus Sound Studios in Sweden.
