SISTER SIN: Trollhättan Footage Available
March 1, 2011Fan-filmed video footage of Swedish female-fronted heavy rockers SISTER SIN performing the song "Sound Of The Underground" on February 26, 2011 at Backstage in Trollhättan, Sweden can be viewed below. The track comes off the band's second album, "True Sound Of The Underground", which was released in North America on June 22, 2010 via Victory Records and was issued in Europe on July 23, 2010 through Metal Heaven Records. It was produced by Henrik Edenhed (DEAD BY APRIL, ROBYN, LAMBRETTA, TEDDYBEARS, CHRISTIAN WALTZ, THE SOUNDS) in Stockholm at Studio 301 and Cosmos Studios.
SISTER SIN recently filmed a video for the song "24/7" with director Richard Frantzen. The clip will make its online debut soon.
Frantzen previously worked with SISTER SIN on the "Sound Of The Underground" video.
SISTER SIN in November announced the addition of bassist Andreas Strandh to the group's ranks.
In a 2010 interview with Sleaze Roxx, SISTER SIN vocalist Liv Jagrell stated about the group's current sound, "We are a heavy metal band. On past records we have been more of a rock band, but on the new album I think we definitely got a lot heavier. You can hear a lot of MÖTLEY CRÜE on our last two albums, but on this one we went heavier. To me this is the sound that SISTER SIN had been searching for on previous recordings but we didn't achieve until 'True Sound Of The Underground' . . . Now we're going for more of a JUDAS PRIEST, MOTÖRHEAD and ACCEPT kind of sound. I think we are aiming for a more '80s traditional heavy metal sound."
