SISTER: 'Spit On Me' Video Released

March 27, 2012

"Spit On Me", the new video from the Swedish sleaze- and punk-influenced metal band SISTER, can be seen below. The clip was recorded during the course of the group's "Hated Over Europe Tour 2011". SISTER's touring schedule in 2011 saw them hit the road with German metal veterans U.D.O., as well play direct support for Chris Jericho's metal band, FOZZY.

Commented SISTER on the video: "This video is dedicated to our European fans; cheers to all of ya! Big thanks to main man Jimmy Johansson for making this video and not to forget our two tour crew members, Johan 'Prästen' Heijdenberg and Jonas 'Gryning' Berndt. We also wanna send out a big thanks to all the bands we've been touring with! See ya on the road, bastards!"

"Spit On Me" comes off SISTER's Metal Blade Records debut, "Hated", which came out in Europe in June 2011. The cover art for the CD was created by Kim Oktavia, who is an artist/tattoo artist in Stockholm, Sweden, and photographer Axel Engström, also from Stockholm.

SISTER, which hails from the Stockholm/Jönkoping area of Sweden, formed in early 2006, working hard to build up a name as a strong act both live and in the studio.

SISTER consists of four members — Jamie on vocals, Lestat on guitars and backing vocals, Rikki on bass and backing vocals, and Cari on drums and backing vocals — who combine the sounds of punk, glam, rock, and metal with an end result sounding something like the bastard child of GG ALLIN and GUNS N' ROSES.
