SIX Added To San Bernardino Date On ROCKSTAR ENERGY MAYHEM Tour

July 11, 2008

SIX — the Huntington Beach, California-based band featuring former DROWN frontman Lauren Boquette — has been added to the July 13 San Bernardino, California date of the Rockstar Energy Mayhem festival featuring SLIPKNOT and DISTURBED. The band will open the Jägermeister stage, where they will perform alongside MACHINE HEAD, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and 36 CRAZYFISTS.

In other news, SIX has announced that guitarist Duke Decter (ex-IDOLS, DROWN) will join the band to deliver a blistering set of songs off the new SIX album, "Between The Warning and The War". The set will reunite Decter and SIX frontman Lauren Boquette for the first time since both were members of alt-metal group DROWN and in support of the band's 1998 release, "Product of A Two Faced World".

"It'll be great jamming with Duke again," said Boquette. "He's an old friend, we've had a lot of great times together, we've made a lot of great music together and damn can that guy put away the whiskey!"

In other news, SIX recently signed on with the Red Dragon booking agency and are currently in the process of booking a full-scale U.S. tour for September and October.

SIX's new album, "Between The War and the Warning", features appearances by Mike Clark from SUICIDAL TENDENCIES and bassist Tony Campos from STATIC-X, and was released on the group's own 1605 Records.
