SIX FEET UNDER/Ex-DEATH Bassist To Play On New THE ABSENCE CD

Tampa, Florida's THE ABSENCE has reportedly tapped Terry Butler (SIX FEET UNDER, DEATH, MASSACRE) to play bass on its sophomore album, "Riders of the Plague", due later in the year via Metal Blade Records. The follow-up to 2005's "From Your Grave" is currently being recorded at Mana Studios in Florida with Swedish producer Jonas Kjellgren (SCAR SYMMETRY, CARNAL FORGE). Mixing duties will be handled by Jonas at his Black Lounge studios in Avesta, Sweden. The new CD will also reportedly include a cover version of TESTAMENT's "Into the Pit".
