SIX FEET UNDER Frontman's 'Awesome Day Of Racing'

April 11, 2005

SIX FEET UNDER frontman Chris Barnes has posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"[Check out a] a clip of myself and my driving instructor Patrick Wallis of Wallis Racing showing me a few pointers on SCCA/Grand Prix Racing. The car being tested is my 350 hp mini-Cooper. My best time around the track was 41.3 seconds — the winner of the grand prix time trial was 38 seconds. I was close, but no cigar...thanks to Pat and all at Ferman Mini as well as George and the crew from Ocala Grand Prix. Awesome day of racing!!!

"Also, I want to thank all of the bands that participated with us on the No Mercy festivals in Europe — NILE, DYING FETUS, DISBELIEF, CATARACT, WYKKED WYTCH. It was a great tour. Can't wait to see the video footage from the Berlin show — it was brutal as fuck, as well as the rest of the shows. We all kicked ass across Europe!"

SIX FEET UNDER's new CD, "13", was released late last month via Metal Blade Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Bringer of Blood" was recorded at Morrisound studios and mixed at the Hit Factory in Florida.
