SIX Music Used In MTV's 'The Gauntlet III'

March 18, 2008

MTV has optioned the track "Everything" by the band SIX the Huntington Beach, California-based band featuring former DROWN frontman Lauren Boquette for the current season of "Real World" / "Road Rules" challenge "The Gauntlet III". A clip of the track can viewed online here at the opening of round 3 in the challenge.

"I'm really glad that such a huge company as MTV is willing to pick up an underground band on an indie label for such a major show. We're stoked to be on it," says Boquette. "Maybe times are changing now and it isn't just about corporate rock or trendy bands anymore. Let's hope so..."

SIX recently released its third album, "Between The Warning and the War", which features guest appearances by Mike Clark from SUICIDAL TENDENCIES and bassist Tony Campos from STATIC-X. The band has uploaded three tracks from the CD, including the bands new single, "The Day I Died", at the group's MySpace page.
