December 19, 2011

Video footage of SKID ROW guitarist Scotti Hill showing you how to play the solo to the band's classic song "18 And Life" can be seen below.

Commented Hill: "I got a tweet from someone who was learning one of my solos. She did fine 'till the end where gets a little quick. So here's a quick lesson for the solo to '18 And Life' from the first SKID ROW disk. I also added an an alternate ending that is slower and tasty. Filmed on location at one of my various man caves."

"18 And Life" was the second single from SKID ROW's 1989 eponymous debut album. The song became the band's biggest hit, reaching No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was named the 60th best hard rock song of all time by VH1.

"Skid Row" was released on January 24, 1989 and is certified quintuple platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association Of America) for sales in excess of five million copies.
