SKID ROW, JACKYL, SLAUGHTER and FIREHOUSE are among the confirmed bands for the Dakota Rock Fest, a two-day outdoor festival set to take place July 25-26 on the Sioux Empire Festival Grounds in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

L.A. GUNS
BANG TANGO
FASTER PUSSYCAT
SMOKIN'
DEAD OR ALIVE
PARADISE CITY
ESCAPE
JUKEBOX ZEROS
PAISTY JENNY
ROCKARMA
BOMBAY BLACK

According to a posting on the festival's web site, "Dakota Rock Fest is held on a festival area where green grass covers the ground and you can sit in the summer sun or enjoy the coolness of the shade trees. The peaceful sounds of Sioux Falls roll by and as the concert continues into the evening the sun sets over the city, creating an amazing backdrop for the stage. It is truly the perfect setting for an outdoor rock 'n' roll event.

"Countless volunteers, business sponsors, and community members are committed to insuring that you have an incredible experience at Dakota Rock Fest and enjoy your time in Sioux Falls, South Dakota."
