SKID ROW Postpone Club Tour

March 12, 2003

SKID ROW have postponed all of their previously announced club dates due to scheduling conflicts with the summer amphitheater tour that includes POISON and VINCE NEIL. According to an official press release, "the shows are being rescheduled for the fall. The band apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused for the fans and venues. Although the club tour was booked in advance, the amphitheater schedule was just received from the powers that be that prohibit the band from playing the same markets in the same time frame."

SKID ROW are currently shopping their already-completed new album, "ThickSkin", to interested labels following their split with longtime home Atlantic Records. A mid-spring release is expected. Also set to surface is the group's first-ever DVD, titled "Under The Skin — The Making of ThickSkin", which is tentatively due on April 30. According to the band's official web site, the DVD "takes you from the songwriting process through the recording of the new record. There's lots of cool behind-the-scenes footage from rehearsal, the recording studio, and the infamous Skid House, as well as bonus footage that shows the Skids outside their musical environment."
