SKINDRED Begin Demoing New Material

February 22, 2004

SKINDRED, the Welsh band featuring former members of DUB WAR, are starting to demo "some killer new tracks in their new rehearsal space/recording studio," according to a post on the band's web site. There is currently no date set for the band to go into the studio to begin recording the follow-up to 2002's "Babylon". Among the cuts set to appear on the forthcoming CD are two of the tracks the group have been performing live during their recent shows: "A Cure for Cancer" and "Start First".

In related news, SOULFLY mainman Max Cavalera (ex-SEPULTURA) invited SKINDRED singer Benji during a recent promotional trip to record a program for the U.K. Sky music channel Scuzz TV, called "Demolition". Benji and Max spoke about their first demos and the experiences they had trying to get a record deal.
