SKINDRED To Headline U.K. Dates After STAMPIN' GROUND Drops Off
January 21, 2004SKINDRED, the Welsh band featuring former members of DUB WAR, will now be headlining the dates they had planned to play with STAMPIN' GROUND as STAMPIN' GROUND have pulled out of the shows, according to a posting at SKINDRED's web site. Support at the dates will come from FONY, FALLEN TO, BROWBEAT, DESERT MONKEY (Colchester only) and P.D.H.M. (Redhill only).

Jan. 29 – Gloucester, UK @ Guildhall
Jan. 31 – Redhill, UK @ Harlequin
Feb. 01 – Colchester, UK @ Arts Centre
As previously reported, SKINDRED will begin demoing fresh new tracks for their second release in February. There is currently no date set for the band to go into the studio to begin recording the follow-up to 2002's "Babylon". Among the cuts set to appear on the forthcoming CD are two of the tracks the group have been performing live during their recent shows: "A Cure for Cancer" and "Start First".
