SKINDRED To Reissue 'Babylon' With New Tracks

April 2, 2004

SKINDRED, the Welsh band featuring former members of DUB WAR, have posted the following message on their official web site:

"SKINDRED's been busy in their studio/rehearsal room in the basement of St Josephs boxing club Pill Newport, demoing lots of killer new tracks. With Dan and the guys producing the music themselves. They are planning with the Bieler Brothers to go into studio in Florida and lay some tunes to add to a re-release of 'Babylon'.

Commented frontman Benji Webbe: " 'Babylon' may have been out a while but a lot have changed since Mike and Arya joined us, we cant wait to go in and let people hear what new vibes we’ve been building and creating in our laboratory. The new stuff has captured a whole fresh element to SKINDRED and we are sure that fans and foes are gunner trip out when they hear some of these songs. The plan is to write about 40 tracks then pick 12 for the full-blown follow up to 'Babylon', But meantime you got to catch some of this new material. That's why we are adding new bonus songs to 'Babylon', that album's far from reaching its potential. This stuff got to be heard and that's why we are giving people a taste of what's to come when we do release a 2nd album."
