SKINDRED To Support BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE In Europe
November 7, 2007Following its current co-headlining stint on this year's "Great American Rampage" tour, UK-based ragga-metal band SKINDRED will support Welsh metallers BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE on their European headlining tour in January/February. SKINDRED's sophomore album, "Roots Rock Riot", sold 3,200 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 6 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart and No. 22 on the national independent chart.
The recording of "Roots Rock Riot" was completed at Bieler Bros. Studios in Pompano Beach, FL with producer Matt Squire (PANIC AT THE DISCO) and was mixed by Rick Will (BABYLON).
"Roots Rock Riot" is follow-up to the band's breakthrough debut, "Babylon", which has sold over 250,000 copies and featured the Top 10 hit single "Nobody" and its successful follow-up, "Pressure".
SKINDRED has toured the world extensively with the likes of KORN, CHEVELLE, BREAKING BENJAMIN, HIM, SEVENDUST, PAPA ROACH, SOULFLY and has appeared at the U.K.'s Download festival where frontman Benji Webbe took over vocals for KORN to perform their classic song "A.D.I.D.A.S."
