SKINLAB: Tour Changes Announced

April 27, 2007

Bassist/vocalist Steev Esquivel of reactivated San Francisco Bay Area metallers SKINLAB has issued the following update:

"Hey guys, few things changing here on the tour front.

"We've been left with no choice but to carry on the tour without our buds WILL HAVEN. Sorry to all the WILL HAVEN fans that were looking forward to seeing them. We're just as bummed, hopefully they'll sort out their issues and joins us on some of the dates. ANKLA will now be direct support starting May 15, PAIN PRINCIPLE has been added to the entire tour, taking over APIARY's spot, with a local act from every city added to the show.

"We'd like to thank APIARY for being the cool dudes they are. Make sure to keep an ear out for them, they'll be makin alot of noise here this summer...

"Yup yup, things are kinda crazy trying to put tours together, ya know?

"All us bands have the right intention on trying to get out on the road with good friends, your favorite bands or what-not. Fact of the matter is, sometimes life's overwhelming expenses take hold of the metal dream and squeeze it by the balls.
We all try to make ends meet so we can get out there and bring the music to you , but sometimes things fall through, as in the case right now..... Shit happens!!! So make some fuckin' noise , let the clubs know you want your favorite local band to play."

A brand new SKINLAB track, entitled "The Face of Aggression", has been posted on the band's MySpace page.

SKINLAB will undertake the "Face of Aggression" headlining tour beginning on May 4 at Stoney's in Reno and ending on June 3.

As previously reported, SKINLAB is working on its first-ever DVD, tentatively due before the end of the year.
