SKINLESS Putting Finishing Touches On New Album Recordings

January 25, 2006

New York-based death metallers SKINLESS are continuing work on their new album for Relapse Records. Entitled "Trample The Weak, Hurdle the Dead", the CD will be the band's first to feature new vocalist Jason Keyser and is being recorded with longtime engineer Brett Portzer at his Max Trax Studios. "Trample The Weak, Hurdle the Dead" is the follow-up to 2002's "From Sacrifice To Survival".

Commented founding SKINLESS guitarist Noah Carpenter: "Almost there. Guitar and bass tracking are finished and vocals will be done in the next couple of days. It's been a long process but I really think it's going to be worth it. We'll begin mixing next week and everyone in SKINLESS is very excited with how 'Trample The Weak, Hurdle The Dead' is coming along. Orion from Relapse is working on some sick cover art for us and we'll reveal that as soon as possible. I'll be announcing the track listing in the near future too.

"After 5 years of being banned from The Palladium in Worcester, MA we will be playing the New England Metal And Hardcore Festival this year. It's a long story why we haven't been allowed to play there for so long but all that matters is that we'll be back. It used to be one of our favorite places to play and we really look forward to trampling The Palladium once again. Other tour dates will be announced soon."
