SKULLSHIFTER: New Song Posted Online

September 3, 2008

SKULLSHIFTER, the New Jersey-based metal band featuring former INSANIAC members Tom Nolz and CJ Scioscia as well as EXXPLORER bassist J. McCaffrey, has posted a new song entitled "The New Conspiracy" on its MySpace page. The track comes off the group's forthcoming full-length release, "Inner Demons", which features Ross The Boss (ROSS THE BOSS BAND, THE DICTATORS, ex-MANOWAR) contributing lead guitar on the track "Etched In Sand". The follow-up to 2005's "Here In Hell" was produced entirely by the band at Scioscia's studio, Le Chateau Bow Wow Recording, in Watchung, New Jersey, and was mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music.

"Inner Demons" will be released on September 16 via BFD Records. A matinee CD-release show has been scheduled for September 13 at the BPO Elks Lodge #2006 in Cranford, New Jersey. Also appearing are local cover acts BONEDADDY and METAL FINGER.
