SLASH: Action Figure Based On 'Guitar Hero III': More Details Revealed

McFarlane Toys will produce a Slash action figure based on his in-game character from Activision's hit videogame Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. The action figure is expected to hit mass retailers in February 2009.

Slash, one of the most iconic guitarists of all time, lead guitarist for the acclaimed hard rock act VELVET REVOLVER and a former member of GUNS 'N' ROSES, will be the newest Guitar Hero action figure.

The Slash figure will have more than 15 moving parts. Also included with the figure is a unique, removable guitar that is interchangeable with the other Guitar Hero figures and a sculpted Guitar Hero logo base.

Figure stats:

* Figure measures 11 inches at top of hat.
* Articulated at neck, shoulders, biceps, elbows, wrists, waist, hips, knees and ankles.
* Includes guitar and 5-inch wide by 3 1/2-inch deep Guitar Hero logo base.
