VELVET REVOLVER and former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Slash showed up to perform the ROLLING STONES' "Salt Of The Earth" with JET during the band's semi-secret, partially acoustic show at the small Spaceland club in Los Angeles on Sunday night (December 10),according to Launch Radio Networks. BLACK CROWES frontman Chris Robinson and SEX PISTOLS guitarist Steve Jones also climbed onstage at several points throughout the evening. The gig ended with JET and all their guests jamming on the FACES' "Ooh La La".

Chris Robinson sang on a medley of JET's "Eleanor" and the RONETTES' "Be My Baby", while Jones joined Robinson and JET for a go at the FACES' "Miss Judy's Farm".

"Shine On", JET's sophomore effort, arrived in stores on October 3 and debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. The title track is the latest single from the CD.
